ABOUT ME

I'm open to meeting new people and learning things about places from local folks. I enjoy wine/beer, etc. and good conversation/food. And I'm not intimidated by meeting a group of folks at once.

I like to laugh, sometimes have a dark sense of humor, and am not opposed to hanging out and showing you the city when I have a free minute to do so.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled through Spain and Croatia by myself September-October 2011 using CS. I also returned to Spain/France/Portugal with some CS friends in 2012, and then spent a month in Australia in 2013 with some Aussies that I had hosted at my place here in LA. I have met so many kind, amazing people via this project. I've honestly made some amazing life-long friends that it kind of breaks my heart they are now all so far away.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have jumped 108 stories from the Stratosphere hotel in Las Vegas. It was amazingly peaceful.

Also hiked the Great Wall of China (non-touristy part of the wall). Apparently the part we hiked was closed due to "tourist accidents" (i.e., deaths), but we didn't know that until we were done. Oops.

Seeing how a CS host's father makes his own brandy and wine in the middle of nowhere, Croatia.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you a few chords on the guitar or piano. Or how to cook some really good veggies. I could also teach you how to make a delicious croissant pastry from scratch (but it takes a really long time to make the dough layers).
