ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a positive, energetic and open minded girl from the Netherlands with a love for outdoor activities. I am a true believer of enjoying the little things in live! The past year I lived in New Zealand to finish my Biotechnology degree, I totally fell in love with the country so when the borders open I want to go back. Until then I want to feed my lust for travelling by exploring Europe.

I love travelling and to go on long hikes trough nature, but also to meet new people and listen to their stories. Unfortunately unable to host right now but once I can, I would love to return the favour.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is such a great way of travelling because you meet people with similar interests, lear about their culture and way of live. You get to see the local things and make friends all over the world. Unfortunately I am not able to host right now, but as soon as I am again, I would love to return the favour.

Interests

Everything that has to do with being active outdoors is a huge plus for me! I love to be out in the nature and to explore places, I like to go on hikes where not many people go to get the real 'adventour' feeling. Rock climbing is something I haven't done much of but because I'm a tall Dutchy and have some strengt I thinks I should be doing it way more often! And the few times I did it I enjoyed it a lot. I like road cycling, practicing the handstand or so some yoga.

If the weather is no good I like to be baking and cooking and trying out new things, or spend hours on end with my saxophone

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to New-Zealand 8 years ago for 1 month to travel around, it is something i will never forget. The landscape and the people, it was so awesome!
We went with the whole family, so my parents, my sister and my little brother. Even though we slept in the same camper for 4 weeks, we had the best time. We all love to go out and see things, which made every day another spectaculair one! (:
