Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to the couchsurfing world, but I love the concept, and have heard great reviews from friends who have participated. I am interested in meeting the real people who live in the places to which I am traveling, and learning as much as possible about the area and culture. I have a passion for traveling and being outdoors, and I believe that having a global network is a invaluable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went glacier climbing in Alaska (read: not just glacier hiking, but repelling into glacier crevices).
