Hello! My name is Meg and I am a 28 year old researcher (PhD student) and lecturer from the UK. I am currently living in Hull, which is north-east England, close to York and some lovely close by villages and coastal towns! I have an awesome sausage dog called Molly who is 2 years old. I also have one lady from Ukraine living me as a refugee, she has been living with me for two years and is sometimes staying at her boyfriends home or sometimes at home. She is very nice and the same age as me.

I have travelled a lot since I was a kid, including many countries of Europe, India, Egypt (maybe 30 times or more), other north African countries, New Zealand, China and the US. I am hoping to visit more of the Middle East and Eurasia, Oceana, Europe, Africa and South America in the next few years. I love to try new foods, take cool pics and see new things. I love all genres of music, literally anything; classic, rock, punk, pop, country, eastern, arabic .. you will find me singing along to anything! For books, i have to admit I am not a good reader! My job is mostly based around reading so I tend not to do a lot of it in my free time. I prefer to listen to podcasts! My favourite movies include Harry Potter, Twilight, chick flicks, comedy and horror movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oooo very difficult! Has to be spending new years eve when i was 13 on a horse and carriage in the middle of Mumbia, India! Surreal and something I can still picture vividly in my mind 15 years later.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn new languages and love to learn new things to cook! I can help to improve your English, introduce you to my friend group which includes girls from all over the world and also help you to cook my favorite meals to!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can host you on my couch, or for couples i can take the couch and you can take the bed! I am happy to make us dinner, or take you to a local pub for a beer/drink! I do have a small dog, so please be mindful of that. My house is in a small city, called Hull. It is easily accessible via trains or coaches from major cities. You can get around easily via busses, walking or taxis, i do not drive but my friend does so we can do fun things with her! We love to see new things around our city and beyond!
