Halo! I am a 26 year old woman out here navigating through life. I am a lover of all things art and handcrafted. I appreciate expressed individuality and believe differences should be celebrated.

I am currently employed as a medical doctor in an understaffed, overcrowded South African hospital that teaches one to grab the bull by the horns. My long term plans in terms of career changes often. I love being a doctor, but life is just too short to just do one thing. Next I want to become a diplomat or a bartender.

In my free time I enjoy reading, discovering new places, making music and drinking way too much wine with my friends. I am also a qualified agony aunt and have been told that I offer some fabulous advice.

I have a strong interest in languages and would definitely choose being a polyglot as my superpower! Future career options include a PhD in Languages as well ;)

Movies : Cannot usually sit still for entire duration of movie - I will always find something better to do. But gun against my head... I appreciate the drama/real life genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Successfully resuscitated a young man with a gunshot wound through the stomach. He came to the ER almost completely bled out. A few stressful moments in the ER and OT later he was sent to ICU and I thought for sure he didn't make it. One week later he sits up in bed, crying like a baby and thanking me for saving his life :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach the rest of the international community about my sometimes treacherous, yet stunning country - its diversity, natural beauty, delicious foods and colourful people.

In return, I am open to learn new things as well. Learn a couple of life lessons from the older folk and being inspired by the heartbeat of the young.

I am relatively new to this international travelling thing as it is not always easy coming from a country like South Africa. However, I refuse to let that be an obstacle any longer and believe that if you stay in one city all your life without traveling anywhere it is the equivalent to never leaving your bedroom in the mansion you live in. So I hope to meet friends from all over the world, learn some lessons and become even more colourful!
