Hi! I'm Megan, 24 years old and took a full year off to go explore the world! I have spent the last 6 months in Southeast Asia (mainly Thailand) volunteering, working as a freelance travel writer and simply enjoying being abroad. I will be couchsurfing/volunteering for the next 5 months throughout Europe and would LOVE to connect with you while there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have found that although it is always an adventure to see famous buildings, sights and new undiscovered places, what always makes it more special is the people that you get to meet along the way. I have met and become friends with some of the most amazing people I have yet to come across in my life while abroad and I plan to continue doing that through Couchsurfing :)

Interests

I love to write, read and obviously travel is a huge passion of mine :) I also am very big into sports especially basketball and volleyball. When I'm not doing any of those things, my favorite thing above all is spend time with my adorable nephews and big family.

I love all different types of music and books but movies are my absolute favorite. I am never opposed to going to the cinema or spending most of a full day on Netflix ;)
