I'm Megan, I'm 19 years old and I'm currently studying Law at the University of Leeds. I love puzzles, reading, blogging and colourful things! Like many other people on this site, I love to learn :)

I love meeting people from all over the world, it's always fascinating to learn about other cultures and ways of life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend introduced me to this site (Thanks Rob!) with a mutual interest of travelling! I hope to travel the world one day - preferably sometime soon! I'm interested in travelling this summer, both in the UK and throughout Europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Uh, my music taste ranges considerably!

I like everything from Jazz, Funk, Electroswing, Soul, Metal, Rock(And indie!), I'm pretty much up for listening to anything and I LOVE live music - gigs I will never say no to! Just to name a few musicians/bands, I'm a huge fan of Julien Baker, Chicago, RHCP, The Kooks, Two Door Cinema Club, The XX, Fleetwood Mac, Herbie Mann, Mark Colby, Housten Person - and just about anything Jazz and Funk!! I'm particularly fond of Big Band :)

I don't watch an awful lot of TV - so films/tv series are abit limited for me!

Into the Wind, Perks of being a Wallflower, Shawshank Redemption (the classics! ;))

My Favourite Books - this is a section that I just don't have enough time to fill,

but i'm particularly fond of the classics (as are most!)

I really like The picture of Dorian Gray, and I like to read a series by the Oxford Press called 'A very short introduction to' - you can get them on just about anything, so if you ever want to learn about any topic at all they probably have a book on it! (My favourite's being Geology & Memory at the moment) - very well written and informed!

I really quite like poetry too, my favourite poet being Dorothy Parker ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't think I can really teach people anything that they wouldn't want to learn for themselves. Most of all I hope to teach self-love and enjoyment of life! Because, I'm quite a happy person ;)
