I know we don't have any references yet but we are new to couchsurfing!! :) So, with that being said, I apologize if we haven't perfected the CS protocol! :) We have heard nothing but amazing things and it seems like the best way to experience a new place and meet cool people so we are going to give it a try!! Born and raised in Florida, USA, my best friend Lauren and I LOVE to travel and experience new cultures. Starting in May, we will be backpacking for three months...we are ready to meet cool people and see the most beautiful places that Europe has to offer. We are super laid back and are always up for a good time. Also, we aren't loud, rude or messy :) We will help with cooking/cleaning!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We decided to try couchsurfing because we saw it as an opportunity to really indulge into the culture and experience as much of a city as we can in the few short days we are visiting. It is the best way to interact with locals and really understand and appreciate a new place. We want someone that can tell us what we should eat, where we should go and what we should see. It becomes much more personal experience and we will get to make more friends along the way :)

Interests

We love scenery...whether it's beaches, mountains, lakes, city etc. We plan on doing lot of hiking and general "sight seeing." We aren't necessarily looking to do all of the "touristy" things...we want to go off the beaten path and experience the beauty of each city we visit. A host that enjoys the outdoors and knows the best places to see would be ideal. We don't need someone to be a full time babysitter (we understand you have a life too) but would really love someone that won't just ignore us either and can really help us "see" the city :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Mumford and Sons- we have traveled to see them many times. Saw them in Dublin last year and will be seeing them again in Prague!

We have been skydiving, white water rafting, snorkeling...the list goes on. We love doing things outside!

Teach, Learn, Share

We want to learn anything you have to offer whether it be cooking, language, instruments...ANYTHING!! This trip is an opportunity for us to break out of our comfort zone and really throw ourselves into the culture!

Hopefully there is something we can teach you about. English, definitely!
