About Me

I've lived on 3 continents. Passionate about all things language, culture, and human rights advocacy.

I work remotely (but often take time off when traveling or am happy to work from a cafe) and love the freedom it affords me

The friendships I've made and people I've met while traveling are the reason I do it! but a beautiful view doesn't hurt either

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

to get a more realistic/ local feel when solo traveling somewhere new. I met some great friends couchsurfing 8 years ago that I'm still in touch with today.

If the host is busy, I'm quite independent and can entertain myself, but even the advice of where to go/ what to see can be so helpful.

It's a great way to meet people outside of the drinking/ party scene

Interests

I'm big into anything arts and culture related - museums/ galleries, films, architecture, live music

I like to be outdoors & active- running, hiking, going to the gym, training muay thai, meditation, yoga

I try to catch as many sunrises and sunsets as possible

  • concerts
  • salsa dancing
  • reading
  • live music

Music, Movies, and Books

I love any kind of live music- I sing and play piano/ am learning guitar and I love to be surrounded by music. I listen to mostly alternative/ indie but honestly my Spotify spans from rock to jazz to classical to Latin to rap- I can find something I like everywhere.

I always carry around a novel and a journal for impromptu cafe time

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

moved to spain at 19 with just myself and a backpack 🎒

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to practice my Spanish as I don't live in Spain anymore I don't have much opportunity

passionate about volunteering and helping others, interested in any community projects you might have going on
my future goal is to work abroad for an NGO
