We're Megan and Colin and we're currently graduate students at the University of Edinburgh, studying Outdoor Environmental and Sustainability Education! Our schedule is quite flexible as we're currently writing our dissertations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to travel and would like to make the most of our time in Europe by seeing as much of it as we can! We hope Couchsurfing will help us meet local people and avoid tourist traps!

We currently live in a TINY apartment with no room for hosting, but when we move back to the states we hope to become hosts as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

Megan: Punk, post-punk, etc! Favorite book is East of Eden. I love fiction but I haven't been able to read for fun since I started my masters. I read a lot of research about spending time in the outdoors, while indoors! :,(

Colin: I like hip hop and folk, non-fiction, and comedies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've been climbing in Spain, skiing in Italy, surfing in the Canary Islands, mountaineering in Scotland and played croquet in London - we just like to have fun outside!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We LOVE itineraries and usually have a very packed schedule of funtivities on our travels. We might even be able to take locals to do things they've never done in their hometowns! We make really good adventure buddies! :D
