Hi! I'm from a small town in the Rockies Mountains called Invermere, where I've grown up all my life. Travel has always been something that I'm passionate about, and I love experiencing new cultures, languages, cuisines, and landscapes. I would love to meet up with any other travelers, to share stories and inspiration. I work as a biologist in Canada, and spend a lot of time hiking, skiing, and running in nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just graduated from my Bachelor's degree, and am spending the last few months of freedom traveling before I need to get a "real job" and settle down. I am fascinated to meet people from all over the world and learn their stories, and think there is so much to be gained by building relationships with people in communities around the world.

My music tastes are pretty eclectic, but lately I've been listening to a lot of alternative music; bands like July Talk, Airborne Toxic Event, Alt J, Justin Vernon, Dan Mangan, etc.

I love all sorts of books, and my current favourites are The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Forthfuss.
