Overview
About Me
I'm an optimistic and curious person. I love to chat and discuss politics and life and really just about anything.
I come from a small town in Manitoba, Canada and have fallen in with moving around and living in different places.
I moved to Toronto and then Denmark for design school, and settled right before the pandemic in Montreal, Canada.
Some of my hobbies are playing music (guitar and piano), being an editor for an art and design magazine (@noia.magazine), and dancing. I love animals but am unfortunately pretty allergic to cats, but even still will sometimes pet them to my own demise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love people, and making new friends and acquaintances is a really big joy. Meeting new people who are so warm and welcoming as to open their home to strangers sounds like the right kind of people to have as friends.
Also, I need friends so I'm not just playing cards, dancing or talking with myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I flew directly from India to Manitoba, with 2 layovers and a total time of 36 hours from start to finish to make it 15 minutes late for a wedding ceremony of a childhood friend.
Teach, Learn, Share
I play piano, guitar and violin. I played oboe way back in the day but can't teach you anything from that experience.
I'm also very good at untying knots.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you how to say "bitch, please" in American Sign Language.
I've also worked a lot of odd jobs and had many random hobbies, so hopefully there's something in the mix that I can share in some sort of way.
