Lived in TX, OH, GA, PA, AR, WY, FL, MO...Back to Arkansas now! I used to work in camping, now I am in the world of marketing...but live for being outside, cycling, volunteering, being with friends and learning new things. I have loved exploring the outdoors and traveling since I was a kid, but what I have learned over the years, is that a place (including the one you live in) is only as great as the people you experience it with. And not just travel with, but interact with in that place and its culture.

My goal in life is to not become complacent or let my mind narrow. Meeting new people, trying new things and getting comfortable being uncomfortable are some ways I aim to reach that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and new people, why else! After years of working in the camping industry, I find that true and authentic hospitality is one of the greatest ways to experience genuine joy. Part of that is sharing not only a place to sleep, but also a story or aspiration that can challenge another's perspective. I know not every couch surf interaction has the chance to be a profound connection, but simply knowing there is a group in this world with the trust and respect to welcome people into their homes means all the kindness in the world.
