I'm an RN in Calgary, a pretty happening place in Canada's mid-west. My home is 45 minutes from the internationally acclaimed Rocky Mountains and truthfully, through all the travelling I do, this will always be home. Calgary's growing cultural and social scene make it a great place to come visit but also live... and it's likely people will fall in love with it upon arriving.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a nurse allows me to travel a lot due to the quirky schedule. I am excited to get started on CS to meet more people around this pretty great planet!

Interests

I love cooking, travelling, eating, and adventuring. Reading and playing music are hugely inspirational too. I love sharing playlists with people I meet to really understand people's characters and traits better. There's so many hidden musical gems out there so I'm stoked to have expanded horizons! I'm a bit of a foodie; why waste life eating rubbish when there's so many good options out there? And don't even get me started on wine. Life is too short!

Music, Movies, and Books

British crime dramas are a weak spot; I don't do horror films, though can take the suspense ones.
I read so much that it's hard to pin it down to a favourite. Same goes for music; if you want a great breakup album, let me know cause I've got it. I do a lot of alternative rock/acoustic and am always eager to pick up on more underground stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the great wall in flip-flops... that was certainly memorable. Slightly sore too.
