Overview
About Me
I am a young professional, working as a copy editor for a non-profit women's organization.
I am pretty easy-going, but a bit on the quiet side. However, I do enjoy listening to and playing music. I sing, play fiddle, cello, a little piano, and can strum about 3 chords on the guitar.
Some of my other interests include reading, hiking, writing, travel, road trips, camping, canoeing, cats, trying new foods, good conversation about world events and different perspectives, meeting people from other countries, and good coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel is all about the people you meet, the places and scenery are all bonus. And as I am going to be doing a lot of solo traveling during the next year, I wanted to have a platform to get in touch with other people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Currently into acoustic fiddle/banjo music from the Appalachians in the USA, but also enjoy acoustic folk, Balfolk music from France, contemporary fiddle music from anywhere, world music, Canadian First Nations music, etc. Also will listen to bands like M83, Sigur Ros, etc.
Books:
The genres I usually gravitate to are fantasy and sci-fi, but I will read just about anything if it catches my interest.
Movies:
Depends on my mood ...
