Well hello there!
My name is Megan, but I usually go by 'Meg', 'Megs', 'Nutmeg', or 'that tall ginger girl'. I just finished my degree in political science at Mcmaster University. I could sit and talk politics and philosophy all day long, but usually people don't let me. I am a true outdoors-woman, although I am always down to stay in for a good old fashioned Star Wars marathon.

I have always done everything by the book. I have always done my research before doing anything, and I have seldom taken risks. I want to change that. When I heard about couchsurfing I thought that it seemed 'sketchy'. However, after looking into it a bit more I have heard the most amazing stories and feedback. I love the idea that two complete strangers, from completely different backgrounds can put their trust in each other. I am eager to meet new people, share some stories and laughter, and form amazing friendships!

I have not yet mastered the art of sitting by myself and relaxing. I am the type of person who always likes to be doing something, even if that something is just sitting around and chatting.

I have recently had the opportunity to attend a yoga session with over 800 people. I live in an a city that many people would consider to be a 'rough' area. It was so amazing to see so many people from my community come out and share an hour of complete calmness and joy.
