Overview
About Me
Hello there, I'm an outgoing traveler and laid-back host currently living in a nice little unit on the Gold Coast with a fellow female housemate. I grew up at Moana Beach and right next to McLaren Vale (wine region) just south of Adelaide, South Australia, where my parents still live and also host Couchsurfers.
Amongst other things, I'm an environmental scientist specialising in water sustainability, a competitive surf boat rower (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5vhom73ipE), an aspiring green thumb tending to my little veggie patch, and an avid wine drinker.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was on Couchsurfing 5-8 years ago with my partner at the time, as travelers and hosts (to people from Denmark, Germany, Malaysia, England, Japan and more). When I moved to Melbourne, we disconnected our joint profile and I was unable to host so didn't join up again myself. But now I'm back on the Gold Coast, and back on here ready to host and travel again.
Note: I will be traveling in Europe in July and August 2018 so unavailable to host during those months, but hopefully meeting and staying with some awesome people myself!

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh so many! And yet even many more to be created and discovered. Let's just leave this for conversation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surfed an 8 foot wave in a surf boat.
Teach, Learn, Share
The best experiences are those shared: coffee to craft beers, board games to hiking, beaches to music concerts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The best things I can share are about the places I've lived (Adelaide, Melbourne, Gold Coast).
I also know a bit about living life without plastic, if you're interested.
And a pair of hands and able body if there is anything you need a bit of help getting done.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, China, Czech Republic, Germany, India, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
