I grew up in Utah in the U.S. and after graduating from Utah State University I moved to Rotterdam to work as an Au Pair for a year. I majored in print journalism with minors in art history and multimedia development with the intentions of finding a job as a photojournalist after graduation. I love to take pictures because I believe photographs have a very special way of telling a story.
I'm an art nerd and a music nerd. While personally untalented in both areas there is nothing I love more than a good art museum or some good live music.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Because I'm living in Europe for the next year so I'm taking advantage of that and trying to travel around as much as I can! I also like meeting new people and seeing new places from a local perspective. Excited to couch surf so I can meet people who know the area and can hopefully let me in on some of the city's secrets.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My all time favorite band is The 1975. I listen to a lot of indie alternative music and love so much music but here are the first one's that come to mind: Young the Giant, Two Door Cinema Club, The Wombats, Hers, Borns, Girl in Red, TV Girl, Briston Maroney, Cigarettes After Sex, and the list goes on :)

I'm definitely a chic flick movie kind of person. Also Wes Anderson movies. Moonrise Kingdom, Isle of Dogs, Grand Budapest Hotel, yes please.

Favorite book has to be The Life of Pi.
