Overview
About Me
I'm a journalism student at Marshall University with high hopes of one day becoming a multimedia storyteller, making a living by freelance writing and making documentaries and other forms of media. I've been described by my cohorts as "literally the chillest person [they] know," which I guess means I'm pretty easy to get along with. I love playing and listening to music, being outside, and meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently on my very first solo journey, working on a multimedia project about music festivals. I'm looking to meet some cool people and will likely host people when I get back home!
Interests
I am interested in (arguably) way too many things, including, but not limited to:
music, roller derby, skateboarding, science, festivals, camping, the great outdoors, the environment, food, beer, dancing poorly

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to everything from bluegrass to EDM to punk, but I absolutely fangirl over Circa Survive. My favorite movie is Grand Budapest Hotel. Bill Bryson, Margaret Atwood, and Harry Potter books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm doing it right now! I'm festival hopping for the majority of my summer to document the experience over different media platforms.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to think I'm a decent conversationalist and an even better cook, and, if you're musically inclined, I'm always down for a jam sesh.
