Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet local people when I travel because I think that's the only way to really get to know a place. I want to make new friends and share experiences with people that I would otherwise never get to meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I outran an African Forest Elephant, on more than one occasion, while surveying animals in the Central African Jungle

Teach, Learn, Share

I really want to work on my Spanish! Right now that is my priority ... but I am always eager to pick up a new instrument (I've been trying to teach myself ukulele for quite a long time now!), and my salsa dancing could do with some work too. Learning and improving with others is always more fun!

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be my pleasure to cook dinner for you (although I can't guarantee it will be your pleasure to eat it!). I would also love to chat in either English/French/Spanish/Gaeilge and will gladly teach you a few Irish Dancing steps ... after a few drinks!
