I am a student looking to travel the world on a budget. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I am passionate about the outdoors (backpacking especially) and love anything that involves eating or drinking coffee. I have no musical or artistic talent but reveal in others talents. I am always ready to experience a new place with new people. I am quiet talkative and love to hear stories of travel and helping others. I have hopes of being a teacher one day but my ultimate goal is to help as many people as possible in any way I can. I think the world is an incredible place full of lots of people who think and live in different ways but are all connected. And I want to see it all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy learning about a new place from someone who actually lives there. It is more fun to stay with a local than in some hotel where everything is the same; life is too short to stay somewhere with no character. Also I am a student which means I have a student budget so I am making due with what I have.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to most music and always have a song stuck in my head. I enjoy watching almost any movie from chick flicks to old classics to any sports movie created. I don't read as much as I would like to and sometimes have a hard time finding books I actually want to finish, so if you have any suggestions please share!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Currently I am studying abroad in Finland and I think this has been the most amazing thing I have ever done. I have never been so emerged in a culture than I have been these past couple months. I have meet some truly amazing people and experienced so many life changing things (Northern Lights oh my goodness).
