Grew up in the city now known as Portlandia with my hipster friends and medium-sized cat. Currently studying abroad for the year in Lyon, France. I love to laugh, spend hours in coffee shops, and look at life positively. Like most Americans, I love talking to new people and making friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for places to stay during my travels because I am on a student budget :) Unfortunately I am not available to host in Lyon because I live with a French family and it is not my home to share.

Ed Sheeran, Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles, Hozier, and Passenger are all my number ones to listen to. I love to read and favorites are The Fault in our Stars, Bossypants, Harry Potter, The Princess Bride, The House of the Spirits, and The Great Gatsby. My fav movies are Pride and Prejudice (Keira Knightley version), The Sound of Music, Land of the Lost, Begin Again, About Time, and She's the Man. I could probably talk and listen for hours about any of these subjects.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skiing for a week in the Alps was probably one of the best experiences of my life.

Je pense qu’il y a plusieurs raisons de parler un autre langue. Français n’est pas ma langue maternelle mais j’aime parler beaucoup et si vous parlez francais, je peux comprendre! J'adore parler français et anglais quand même :)
