I am American by origin, but grew up in Tanzania when my parents moved there as missionaries. I'm currently living in Finland where I study in the GLOMAS (Global Music Masters) program. I love to travel and I love to meet new people! I play cello, fiddle, sing, hand percussion, and whatever else I can get my hands on. I love to teach, and I love to compose.

I love all sorts of music, pretty much anything besides hard rock. I have a background in classical, but also in Tanzanian and some Nordic folk music.

I love romantic comedies and good adventure and action movies. Absolutely no horror or scary movies for me!

I love mystery novels, historical fiction, fantasy.
