Overview
About Me
I'm easygoing and friendly, and respect your space. But I love meeting new people and hearing their stories and travelling is quickly becoming one of my passions. I studied social work at the university, and I hope to use this to work on helping families get adequate nutrition. Food, gardening and coffee are my other loves, I run an 1/2 acre non-profit garden that supports the soup kitchen and food pantry by increasing access to organic, fresh vegetable and fruit. I am a yogi, hiker, camper and love the outdoors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet people from around the world, and show them our lovely gem of a town in Arkansas. I also love to travel, and couchsurfing is a really fun way to learn about other cultures and have more authentic experiences when I visit new places.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like comedies and horror movies, don't really have a favorite. My favorite music is mostly classic, alternative or folk, I love Jim Croce and Fleet Foxes. I read mostly nonfiction but I like light-hearted fiction books, and usually just take random recommendations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Exploring the ATM cave and Mayan ruins in Belize!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn about the food, landscape, lifestyle and anything else they're willing to teach. My goal is to absorb the most of every place a see. I can bring in any american culture my host would like to learn, and help with English if that's what's desired! I'm very open minded. I love practicing my Spanish, it's not good yet but I hope to one day be fluent.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share anything I've learned in school or at the university up to this point, as well as my music and any thing they wanna know about the United States. Also I love to cook so I can teach them to cook what I'm accustomed to as well as help them cook anything they'd like. Anyone is welcome to come to my garden to volunteer and learn about organic farming practices.
