I'm gearing up for a round the world backpacking trip in 2018 and figure couch surfing will be a great way to meet fellow travelers and get prepared for my trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been considering joining couch surfing for awhile now and have wanted to solo travel but have been waiting for the right time. Finally fate has intervened I was planned to do a Napa trip with friends next weekend, but they had to cancel last minute. Since my flight was not refundable I figured this was fate stepping in telling me it's time to try solo travel.

I have eclectic tastes in music, love everything from rap to folk.

I'm a big book worm. Some favorites include: To Kill A Mockingbird, Great Gatsby, Harry Potter and anything Jane Austen. I'm currently reading A Brave New World.

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and every person you meet has something they can teach you. With the current political climate its more important than ever to have open communication with new people in order to foster understanding and mutual respect. I'm a very go with the flow person and I believe in the value of new experiences. In the end even if trying something new doesn't work out at least it will be a good story.
