I'm a college student in Minnesota, US. I was born and grew up in Shenzhen, a huge, modern and super young city in China. My first abroad experience was being a one-year exchange student in Minnesota when I was 16. That year wasn't super easy for me because everything was just too different: food, language, school, sports, social life, etc. But I also had my best days during that year. Because of the experience, I got to realize that the world is much much bigger than Shenzhen. As I continued my study in US and traveled to more places, I became more certain about my belief that there's still more amazing places in the world waiting for me, more bizarre food to taste, more wonderful people to meet and more great stories to hear and tell :)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

The first traveling book I read was a book by this girl who studied in a university in England and traveled around Europe through Couchsurfing. Her experiences in CS made her whole trip more fun, thrilling and interesting. Since then I always had this dream of travelling around Europe and meeting different people in different countries through CS. Now after 6 years I finally have the chance to travel in Europe with my best friend from childhood. Therefore, here I am in CS, taking another step towards realizing my dream .
