ABOUT ME

I am from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. My family came here in the 1830's from Ireland. My husband is a factory worker and I am a special education teacher assistant. We spend our free time watching movies and hiking through our mountains. We have four cats and German Shepard named Athena.

Music, Movies, and Books

All movies especially old classic movies. My favorite is "Gone with the Wind". All music(folk, bluegrass, pop, rock, electronic, etc.). I read all kinds of books. "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck is my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a missionary in Poza Rica, Veracruz, Mexico in an orphanage
