HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to couch surf on future trips, and though I am unable to host at this time, I would love to meet with anyone passing through Fargo who might want some company or someone to show them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with two separate hosts, one who eventually became my roommate for a short while. Wonderful experiences all around.

Interests

I love color, making olfactory associations, embroidery, sewing, painting, foreign films, rockabilly, cuddling with my pup, and laughing with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite authors are Emile Zola, Henry Miller, Henry James, and William S. Burroughs. I love rockabilly, 70s punk, indie, and Otis Redding, but am always searching for new sounds to enjoy. I enjoy watching foreign film noir, documentaries, Lars von Trier, and mob movies. My Netflix queue is always full, because I just can't watch anything as fast as I find something that looks interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most wonderful memories is seeing my dad shed a tear of joy because he "felt like he was fifteen again," when we were on a trip. There's nothing quite like making those kinds of memories with someone you care about.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach hand-embroidery classes at work, and love giving my friends personal lessons. :)
