Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
Getting to know ins and outs of my new homebase (Uptown, Minneapolis)
ABOUT ME
I'm a pretty easy-going girl...always ready to have a good time and make new connections. I can be serious and silly and sentimental. I'm not fancy or materialistic, but I appreciate the art of fine living....home-cooked meals, good wine and stimulating conversation. I love to laugh, tell stories, play games, wander aimlessly and get carried away. I am constantly in awe of nature, as it is the cheapest and purest form of joy. I love music, nights out on the town and mornings on my front porch a cup of coffee and the newspaper. I frequent local watering holes, bookstores and coffee shops, because these are the places random strangers become lifelong friends.
I just moved to Minneapolis and am overwhelmed with the stimulating experiences to be had here. Everything from sculpture parks, lakes, to a myriad of gastropubs, music festivals.
PHILOSOPHY
LOVE, LAUGHTER and KINDNESS.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am both a surfer and a host, and enjoy both equally. So often we are taught to be pessimistic of strangers, and I love the optimism, openness and generosity of the couchsurfing community.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
I've had many amazing moments with many special people. It can be as simple as spending a day in the woods, going to see live music, and taking road trips with my friends. As for exciting...I've been deep sea fishing in the Atlantic (and got the biggest catch of the day!), skiing the Rockies, hiking on Mt. Rainier. Places I've seen and love: London, Ireland (Dublin, Galway, Aran Islands), Vancouver BC, Seattle WA, Boulder CO, Portland OR, Whitefish MT, NYC, Washington D.C....and finally, my home away from home Madison, Wisconsin.
Lehren, lernen, teilen
TEACH: how to find some of the best music, food, nightlife and cheap entertainment in the city...casual, fancy, tight budget, no budget....doesn't matter.
LEARN: I'm sure we'll learn a thing or two, but make no promises.
SHARE: space in time and hopefully a lot of laughs.
