ABOUT ME

I am a lover of all kinds of fried food.
I am into just about anything, ranging from hiking, to being a couch potato, to strolling about on the streets.
I am also highly terrified of birds (pigeons, to be more specific)

As busy as I am, I try to make time to squeeze in little trips here and there as a way to relax and broaden my knowledge of the world. It's amazing to realize how small we can be in such a great world. I believe in living life to the fullest and making the most of the present.

One day I hope to buy myself a one way ticket to anywhere and slowly find my way back, travelling through various countries and cities; learning and growing along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to have faith in humanity and believe there is so much to be shared and learned all over the world. The kindness and sheer generosity of strangers never ceases to amaze me.

Interests

Architecture, good pieces of literature, films, photography, listening to good music, eating good food, and playing sports.

And, TRAVELLING. I love learning about new cultures and spending time abroad immersing myself in it. I welcome learning about anything new with open arms.

My interest in culture has led me to attempt to pick up several new languages, which I unfortunately, never follow through with.

good old rock n roll. i appreciate the occasional horror and gore movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went out on a boat for nearly 2 hours in the craziest storm and choppy waters in Australia - in an attempt to catch a glimpse of some whales (managed to see their tails at least!)

unexpectedly saw the majestic northern lights while camping in glacier national park!!!

Trekked The Narrows + back country camped in Zion National Park.

Hitch-hiking around.

Drove on the tiniest and windiest roads (only enough space for one car but meant for two?) through the mountains in Taiwan in the tiniest Nissan March on right hand drive next to some pretty enormous trucks for hours.

Hiked and camped (illegally) on the ruined parts of The Great Wall of China and it was amazeballs.

Travelling through the Balkans.

Camping for 2 and a half weeks in Norway (and made it to Lofoten Islands!)

Freezing my ass off in Lapland to see the Northern Lights literally dance around the sky in a multitude of colours.

Getting my diving license!! No longer limited to seeing only land parts of the Earth.
