ABOUT ME

I am a very energetic, friendly person who loves getting to know new people and learning about new cultures. That necessitates being open to trying new things and making the most of every situation. I am passionate about traveling the world and making amazing memories in the places I go, and am doing that one step at a time.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everyone has an obligation to try to spread joy in others. Putting a smile on another person's face brings me such joy. I think that if people were to make it their mission to make at least one person smile in the course of their day, the world would be a much better place. I also believe that you can never have too many friends :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not sure what this section is about, but I will be couchsurfing this summer. I will be offering up my home in Florida as well when I move in June.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My backpacking trip this summer will be the first time I have ever had a couchsurfing experience!

Interests

I love the social aspect of life. Being with people who like to enjoy the little things in life are the most fun because they can have fun anywhere doing anything. I like trying new foods, hiking, biking, wake boarding, skiing, hang gliding, and I am signing up for surfing lessons when I move to Florida in June. I also paint, read, watch movies, and work out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a whole range of movies, music, and books.
Movies: I like comedies, action, thrillers, and some dramas(I have to be in the mood).
Music: I like classical, rock, hip-hip, pop, and the new forms of music like house and dubstep.
Books: I like books that really take me away from reality. I love adventure novels and fantasies like Harry Potter, A Wrinkle in Time, Lord of the Rings, and those sorts of things. It may sound nerdy, but I love it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite moments was when I hiked Perito Moreno in Patagonia, Argentina. It was such an incredible experience being surrounded by immense natural beauty and the precarious nature of our hike was also thrilling. Patagonia is one of the most beautiful and breath-taking places I've ever been.

Another breathtaking moment was when I took a trip through Peru to Machu Picchu. My friend and I got up at 4am in Aguas Calientes to reach the summit of Machu Picchu by sunrise. The view when the sun rose over those extremely steep mountains was indescribable.
