I am a Christian and God comes first in my life. I am an ER nurse and I absolutely love my job! I love helping others and ultimately want to work as a nurse in an under-served area overseas. I am a calm, quiet person, and great listener. I love traveling and meeting new people and experiencing new places. Two things about me that usually cause jaws to drop are that I don't drink and I'm vegetarian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to experience a new town, and it's friendly on the wallet! It's also a great way to meet people who also love to travel and share stories and learn about other places through them.

Unfortunately I cannot host anyone right now because I am living as a guest in someone else's house for the time being. I look forward to being able to host when I have my own place!

Books - The Bible, the Chronicles of Narnia, The Places in Between, Three Cups of Tea, The Great Controversy, Daring to Ask for More, etc.

Movies - The Princess Bride, Hacksaw Ridge, Despicable Me, The Last of the Mohicans, Silver Linings Playbook, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, anything with Bob Hope in it, etc... It really just varies by mood.

Music - I like a lot of Christian, and random bits and pieces of most everything else (oldies, soundtracks, celtic, some of today's hits, classical. Again, it varies by mood). Not a fan of Country, rap, or heavy metal.
