About Me
Hi! I'm a graduate student in Washington DC, currently working on a Ph.D. in biology. I study wild bottlenose dolphins in Western Australia, so I feel very privileged to be able to travel to such a beautiful and remote area for my work! On the rare occasion that I do have spare time away from research, data crunching, and writing, I like to explore events around the District, wander through museums, eat good food, drink good beer, and see live music. I try to get out and adventure around the DMV area when I can too, since I don't plan to be here forever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoping to stay with and meet some great people in my travels this year! I don't have the means to be a host at the moment (a 300 sq. ft. studio apartment doesn't lend well to space-sharing) but hopefully will sometime in the future!
Interests
Hiking, camping, traveling, reading, yoga, running, photography (I'm an amateur), and drinking craft beer, good coffee, and bold red wines.
