HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thus far I've hosted a slew of incredibly interesting people, have similarly been hosted by warm and generous people, and I talk up CS whenever possible. I joined up with the CS theme camp and Burning Man, and attend a meeting every now and then...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brilliant.
- Our first guest was César the world-walker, which was a perfect introduction to what CS was all about. - At one point we hosted a lady for a month after she was laid-off from her job.
As far as being hosted.. I've experienced
punk shows in squat houses,
home-made schnapps,
sweet old ladies who want to feed you cake,
loads of traditional home-cooked meals,
a man who calls flowers "botanical corpses,"
and I was taught the finer points of hitch-hiking.
