About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expect nothing. Embrace Everything.
ABOUT ME
"No rules."
I'm a student, fascinated by people and with a desire to see the world. I'm always looking for a new experience. I'll try anything twice, in case the first time was a fluke ;-)
I love a cup of coffee or glass of beer. I love going for walks and exploring. I love to laugh and have fun and connect with people. I keep my life as interesting as I can by motivating myself with challenges everyday. I'm a total beach bum - I fell in love at the seaside. I really love music, I'm a drummer, and I love to sing to myself. I love to go exploring - to set out in some direction with no idea where I'll end up.
I love to take in beautiful views, look out on the ocean, and go star-gazing. I think the world has so much beauty to it, and it's nice to stop and experience it once in a while.
I love things on a grand scale, but I also have a soft spot for the little things.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm on this earth for a reason, of which I'm not aware. All I know is all I am, and the stories I can share.
I believe that every person you'll ever meet has a story, and they have something to teach you. I love nothing more then sitting down and listening to these individual accounts, because I think they're all a part of a bigger world story that makes life the funny little thing it is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went Skydiving!!!!!
I competed in a triathlon. And came in the top 100 (of 700 athletes) in the swimming portion. Will do first half marathon soon!
I've seen the sun rise on the East Coast, and the sun set on the West
Made my own beer
Discovered an abandoned coal mine during random walk through woods in PA
Was part of the Philly Riot when the Phillies won the world series in 08, and found myself on the roof of a bar overlooking the sea of people (see pictures)
Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert rally, again, half a million people gathered for a good cause. Awe-inspiring
Finally medaled in a race (running) - hearing my name called in front of 500 people was a surprising, humbling experience.
Presented a "social media" presentation in from of 400 people at a major conference.
I saw my Great-Grandfathers name on the great wall of Ellis Island, and I etched over it with paper and pencil
I saw my Grandfathers name in the World War II monument in D.C.
