ABOUT ME

Hello! I am a pretty relaxed person, always striving for balance in my life. I do a lot of yoga, and like to spend as much time outdoors as I can. I love meeting new people and travelling. I am pretty comfortable around people and always up for the next adventure, but equally enjoy a quiet evening with a cup of tea and a good book.
I am an excellent houseguest, and here is why: I am a trained chef, and will gladly help out in the kitchen! I am always interested in conversation, but am also quite happy to be alone! I am very clean, and will never leave a mess in your house! If you have an interest, perhaps we can practice yoga together! Looking forward to meeting you!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy? Kindness. And love. I think these things are the most important steps to a happy life. I try to live my life from the heart, making a practice of peace as I make my way through the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am available to host! I've finished my travels (for now), and am excited to offer a space to my fellow wanderers. Nanaimo is a super fun town, there are a zillion activities to participate in, especially if you enjoy the outdoors! I would be happy to show you around, and maybe even go on an adventure with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No surfing experience yet, but I've only heard good things from friends who have surfed.

My tastes vary, but favourite authors include Tom Robbins, Phillip Pullman, Margaret Atwood. I like zombie movies and documentaries, and everything in between. Music? I can't begin to touch on that. If it has a good melody, chances are i'll like it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I recently spent a day with rescued elephants at the Elephant Nature Park near Chiang Mai, Thailand. I have never had such a moving, special experience with an animal. I think it is a runner up for best day of my life.
