About Me
"You don't choose a life... you live one." -The Way
ABOUT ME:
Hi there. First of all I find it weird to write about myself but I will do my best here.
My name is Meg. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I work full time at whole foods market and I am incredibly in love with it. I spend all of my free time with my little dog Sullivan. He's the coolest. I am a devout vegan and environmentalist (if you stay at my house you will be asked to compost and recycle ;p) I consider myself a friendly person with a large heart. I love to get to know new people and share stories and experiences, but at the end of the day I just like to curl up with a book in a quiet corner. I am a liberal young american feminist and if I could get paid to do anything in the world it would be to paint. I love chocolate, tea, hiking, and good company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I truly believe one of the best ways to learn about where you are is through the people. I am extremely interested in learning about different cultures (as I am an anthropology major) and I think this is a good way to do it. I also strongly believe that the best part of traveling is the people you meet and the things you learn from them.
Interests
Animals, coffee, rain, hiking, camping, backpacking, traveling (obviously), road trips, indie music, painting, reading, writing, exploring, learning, food, fresh sheets, buddhism, watching the stars, experiencing, loving, and more.

In June 2015 I spent two weeks traveling Iceland alone. It was one of the most incredible experiences i've ever had.
