Overview
About Me
I am a 24 year old female road tripping away from winter seeking the warmth of the desert. This summer I landed my first job with the National Park Service as a seasonal Interpretive Park Ranger in Yellowstone. I am now moving to Tucson, AZ (east-side) to begin a winter seasonal position with Under Canvas. I absolutely love to travel and meet new people, so seasonal work suites my lifestyle quite well!
I am semi-new to couch surfing after a friend recommended the site to be for my travels. I typically travel with all of my belongings in my Subaru Forest, which doubles as my home while away from my seasonal positions. I found that traveling minimally often brings great rewards -- like meeting spectacular individuals along the way.
Some, relatively recent background on myself, I volunteered with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps on the Fire Management team for 5 months in Mariposa, CA (outside of Yosemite doing trail work) and worked on a tiny homes project in Bozeman, MT while volunteering as well. I lived in Tecopa, CA most recently doing Workaway at Villa Anita and Three Moons Project- where I learned the life of a desert rat. My experiences living in communes around Tecopa shaped the person I am today.
I want to get to know you while I stay with you! Life is just a bunch of tiny moments smooshed together and what you do in those moments makes for a greater universal experience for the human kind. I am not religious but love talking about religion and spirituality as I studied religion during my undergraduate career. I have a degree in Psychology and minors in both Sociology and Women and Gender Studies. I consider myself to be an outgoing, open-minded, positive individual with a love for mother nature.
