Hello everyone! We’re Meghan from Cork, Ireland and Dom from Sussex, England- we have moved into our first home together in February 2024 and would love to host people! We had an amazing time Couchsurfing in Central/South America in 2022-2023 and want to repay that by hosting people and meeting new people ☺️ we love to travel and meet different cultures, sharing our interests, local cuisine and more- a stranger is a friend you haven’t met yet and we’ve made the most amazing friends through this and would love the opportunity to make more when travelling and welcome people into our home (we also have an adorable cat called Baloo!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to meet locals and have an authentic experience, making memories and having a positive time while visiting nature and exploring a country!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

we were very lucky to be able to build a campervan using recycled materials and after 2 years we traveled Europe in it. We travelled around South America from September 2022-April 2023 as Dom had a sabbatical opportunity from work, we had to take that opportunity!! We met so many amazing souls and kind people through CS on our travels.

Teach, Learn, Share

Meghan: I have experience teaching English and working with volunteering for different charities, childcare and general crafts and maintenance. I'm currently learning Spanish, after studying it for 1 year last year I took a break and didn't have much practice, so we spent the last 7 months in South America learning more! Learning Irish for the last year going more to my roots now

Dominic: Teaching and support with electronics, computing, mechanics and any home DIY and construction support. I studied business administration and also mechanical engineering. Also learnt to weld during time CS!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Information/recommendations for travelling Europe and South America, Australia and New Zealand on a budget and also a more authentic way!) we love DIY,Gardening and supporting small businesses too if we can in anyway:)
