I am a 23 year old South African Master's student in Marine Biology in Eilat, Israel :) I absolutely love the ocean and everything to do with it, but am also pretty fond of new adventures (I mean, who isn't?!) and discovering new places. I love animals and nature and history...and life, in general ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned, my new motto is "New adventures" and what better way to discover new places and have new adventures in these places than through the eyes and hearts of people who live there!

Movies are fantastic, especially those with Hugh Grant in them - Notting Hill, Love Actually...need I say more :)
I am currently reading "Good Morning, Mr Mandela" by Zelda la Grange - beautiful (I can't even think of other books at the moment).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packed my life into two suitcases (one was rather small, I must add) and left my home country for a country that is TOTALLY different to anywhere else in the world and doesn't speak my language and proceeded to make a life here - well, I think it's pretty amazing! That and working in a community in South Africa for 9 months - children who are hungry to learn are just THE best!!

Hahaha, I can teach you to speak Afrikaans (which will only come in handy in SA, and maybe Holland...sort of) and baking.
I am so excited to learn about every place I visit (and not just from a random tour guide, but from experiencing the place).
