I am a student currently studying Energy Systems Engineering at OSU-Cascades in Bend, OR. I am an avid biker, backpacker, and rock climber. My two favorite things are being really high-up on cliffs, mountains, ect. and going really fast downhill on whatever is nearest and can be strapped to my feet. If you have a pet, you can bet your darndest that I'm going to snuggle it.

Traveling is expensive- couchsurfing helps me to save money while still getting all of the benefits of traveling the world as a student without an income! And by using this, think of all the awesome people I'll get to meet- like yourself!
I believe strongly in paying it forward, so I try to host a little while in University.

I like to climb up rocks, mountains, cliffs, stairs, then I like to go downhill really fast on absail, bikes, or skiis.

I've managed to be a successful female engineering student in a predominantly male dominated university setting.
I've walked across glaciers in near white-out conditions, fought forest fires in the American wilderness, sheltered from thunderstorms while rock-climbing, and dived in the Florida Keys

I can teach a wide variety of things- cycling/bike related, I can fix cars since I'm a certified mechanic, I can talk about climbing/mountaineering all day, or cook some delicious meals.

Being a student doesn't end with my homework- I am a student of the world. Anything that I can learn from and grow to be a better human- I love.

Teach me to meditate and I'll teach you Western Swing dancing. Teach me to fold origami and I'll teach you yoga for back pain. The list of mutual teaching and learning goes on and on!

I can share my stories, my advice, and my crooked sense of humor. I'm a great cook and love to learn and share new recipes! Along with that I have a lot of practical outdoor knowledge on rock climbing, backpacking, bike touring , car camping, ect. Since I'm in Engineering I'm handy with numbers and tools, in case you have any problems you'd like to throw my brain at, I love a good challenge!
