About Me

Hey! I'm an au pair currently living in Annecy, France. This summer, I will be moving to Corsica; a French island in the Mediterranean. I love to travel. I lived in Haiti as an ESL teacher last year with my family. Since then, I think I am addicted to learning more and more about the world, discovering new cultures, meeting new people and finding out what music they like, what foods they like, and what they enjoy doing. Some days I love to hike all day because I live near lots of mountains, and other days I like to hangout by the lake and have a picnic and drinks. I would love to meet up with you if you are ever in the area!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet people from different cultures and I think it is the best way to travel!! Not just because it is the cheaper option, I would prefer to couchsurf because I think it is the best way to meet local people and experience life in a less touristic way.

Interests

I am really interested in languages. I speak 3 languages but I would love to start learning Spanish once I master my French! Once I eventually decide to settle down and get a job, I would love to be an ESL teacher (english as a second language).
For now, I enjoy hiking, meeting new people, swimming, and trying to things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play piano and guitar. I love french music, and latino music. I also like indie, pop, R&B, hip hop and basically anything you would listen to while driving in the car on a summer day with the windows rolled down.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a year of my life in Haiti. The culture shock you go through moving to a country so different than your home is hard, but once you go through it, you're a different person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for you, help you practice your English and play guitar with you if you have one, or provided my travel option allows me to bring it with me! Also we can have a good time together and go out at night together.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, Haiti, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, United States
