ABOUT ME

I am a very friendly twenty two year who is enjoying life in the beautiful city of Montreal. I love exploring, travelling, reading, festivals, drinking tea and baking. I finished university last year and decided to take some time off to relax and explore. I have since been working at a Portuguese super market and studying Russian/Soviet history in my free time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am totally new to couch-surfing and am hoping to meet some wonderful and interesting people this summer while travelling. Unfortunately, due to my current housing situation I am unable to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Newbie, but couch-surfing has been recommended to me by countless friends who have had amazing experiences both surfing and hosting.

Música, películas y libros

I am tone deaf but love music and concerts, go figure. I love everything form the Beatles to Pink and from Simon & Garfunkel to Eminem. I also enjoy Quebecois French Music (Kain, Les cowboys fringants) I love books, especially anything by Nick Hornby and Linda Grant. I liked Atonement, Water for Elephants, Shantaram, the Chronicles of Narnia, and, of course, Harry Potter. As for movies, I love quirky romantic comedies, 10 Things I Hate About You, 500 Days of Summer, Love Actually, Little Miss Sunshine, etc.

Algo increíble que he hecho

A wild beluga whale once surfaced so close to a boat I was in that it blew spray in my face. Also, I thought ziplining through the rainforest was pretty amazing.

I would love to learn about your city of course but also favourite recipes, bands, books, etc. In exchange I can teach you how to make excellent raspberry chocolate cheesecake and show you some French bands from Quebec.
