CURRENT MISSION
I think life is about pushing yourself to grow to become the best version of who you are meant to be. Currently for me that's about putting myself out of my comfort zone, whether it's rafting a class five river, traveling to Ghana alone, or reaching a kind hand out to a stranger. My mission is to follow my heart wherever it may lead me, to the crazy places both in and outside of my mind.

I am passionate about traveling, snowboarding, writing, rafting, learning new things, painting, reading, making meaningful connections, etc etc etc! Currently I've been living a semi nomadic lifestyle for about a year traveling and working in different places around the States and (now) Ghana.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I have had a couchsurfing profile for a few years now, I took an extended break to focus on my studies after my first experience couch surfing in various European cities in 2014. In Europe I finally entered the wonderful, crazy, exciting world of meeting up with strangers in foreign places! At this point I have had multiple positive and unexpected experiences couch surfing in Krakow, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Brussels. Now that I have graduated college I plan to fulfill more travelling goals in Africa from November 2017 to February 2018, I will be travelling to Ghana and hope to also go to Tanzania, Rwanda, and Zambia.

As stated, I have been hosted multiple times in European cities and have loved every minute of getting to know my quirky, generous, open minded hosts!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For the last two years I have worked as a raft guide in Colorado and Arizona taking customers through Class 3 and 4 rapids on some beautiful and very special stretches of river! Rafting has provided me with many incredible unique experiences (and stories). For the past year I have been traveling and working on different rivers while living out of a tent and/or my 1988 Toyota 4Runner.
