Overview
About Me
I'm a photographer, journalist, and botanist. I love to explore new places, especially sharing experiences with interesting people! I have written and edited for environmental, music, and art magazines and am always interested in the intersection between art and the natural world. I am also a little shy, but can always make almost anyone laugh. I work hard, care about the earth and all it's creatures, but I don't take life too seriously and will always be willing to get a little silly!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in travel that supports meaningful connections. I don't have a lot of interest in staying in hotels, I'd much rather exchange with an interesting person.
Interests
I'm all about creativity and nature, especially when the two meet. I'm an artist by trade, botanist by education. I also find food very meaningful and am looking forward to sharing my cooking with you!

Music, Movies, and Books
My very favorite books are all field guides- mostly for plants and birds! In terms of literature though, my all time favorite is the Hobbit- I'm a fan of the fantastical. I don't really watch movies, but I love any and all Wes Anderson films. I'm into most types of music, especially Shannon and the Clams, Girl Pool and Whitney.
Teach, Learn, Share
I LOVE teaching. I can share knowledge on plant medicine. I can teach you to cook and bake vegan meals. I can share my art with you. I'm also eager to learn, I think knowledge exchange can be one of the most beautiful things about humanity.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, music, art, and my photography skills. I'm always willing to do photoshoots in exchange for a place to stay!
