About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel as much as possible!
ABOUT ME
In my previous life (which I will get back to eventually) I was an Engineer. I'm currently a Peace Corps Volunteer serving in Africa and will be wrapping up my service soon. I spent my past two years working with kids, and some adults, and teaching about water and sanitation.
I grew up in Minnesota but since high school I haven't live in the same place for more than two years. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different places whether that be across the world or going just one state over.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is to live life positively.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to this whole couch surfing thing so I haven't really participated yet.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While I haven't done any Couchsurfing officially, I am a Peace Corps Volunteer which means every time I travel I unofficially couch surf at a fellow volunteers house. This entails everything from sleeping on the floor to sharing a tiny bed to having my own room.
Interests
I love exploring new places and gaining new experiences. Adventures are always welcome. I also enjoy camping, rock climbing, hiking and hockey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Almost all of Madagascar is amazing but the most amazing thing I've seen thus far has been the Mozambique Channel at night in Mahajanga. They have bioluminescent algae that cause the ocean to glow at night.
