About Me
I am a lover of books, festivals, and trying new foods. I spend half my time reclusively at home with a new series and then turn around and need to meet new people and try new things.
I grew up in a suburb 200 miles from a large city and moved to Houston when I was 19. Since then I've learned the value of opportunities larger cities and even just different cities can offer. I am still in school working on my education degree while working full time as a nanny and also raising my 3 year old whom, while I would love to take traveling eventually, is not going on trips with me just yet.
2016 Update:
My boyfriend and I are traveling through Europe for a few weeks and I am looking for amazing places for us to see.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a bit of restlessness combined with a thirst to see everything combined with the knowledge that that is impossible. :) I want to meet interesting people and do interesting things. I like to have late night talks over drinks and a game of cards or go out and walk into a bar at random.
Interests
I like reading, camping, tasting amazing food, arguing with my friends over Harry Potter, days at the beach, exploring cities and flea markets.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I canoed down a neighborhood street during a flood...
I made a human.
I look forward to having more to put here.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I want to meet people and part of that is hanging out with anyone who may host me. I'm pretty open-minded, but just to be clear I am not looking to hook up with strangers. ;)
