Music, Movies, and Books
All music, especially electronic and rock, plus some ambient and hip-hop. Currently listening to: This Will Destroy You, Beirut, Big Scary, Busdriver, Nosaj Thing, Daedulus, The Acid, Spoon, The Dead Weather Society, and CAN, but this list changes regularly.
Books: I read a bunch. I love fantastical writers such as Murakami and Brautigan, as well as pure fantasy, such as Raymond E. Feist, for escaping this world, and biographies/non-fiction for understanding it.
I don't get around to watching that many films, unfortunately, though I do love anything by Wes Anderson. I also have a huge thing for British comedy like The Mighty Boosh, Marenghi's Darkplace, The IT Crowd, Black Books, and anything Noel Fielding.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kayaked around glaciers and whales at the southern tip of Chile, slept in a hotel made from salt in Bolivia, escaped time in the clubs of Berlin, lazed on the jungle-rimmed beaches of Brazil, got stuck in chest-deep powder in the Canadian Rockies, spent weeks of summer shoe-less in Tasmania, got bitten by a sea lion in the sub-antarctic islands of NZ.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Fiji, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
