CURRENT MISSION
Traveling in Africa
ABOUT ME
I am a woman whose goals are taking her far from home. My family is my life, and I realize that the human connections and experiences create the moments much more than the place. I am eclectic. I am a balanced intro/extrovert. I am adventurous. I love the new experiences that comes from being 'put outside the box' or comfort zone. I guess this might make me a thrill seeker, but not an unconscious one.
I have wanted to be an English teacher since I was young and have been given the opportunity to study in Cairo.
PHILOSOPHY
There is no single answer, yet all answers provide an solid idea about what this life is, represents, and should be. There is no wrong answer or path, only experience which is based off of good and bad judgement.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This is the first time I have actively utilized my couchsurfing account. I have always helped my friends host people. Because I thought it'd be an easier introduction to this experience. I have hosted four individuals while I was in Thailand. Met over twenty individuals and couples while traveling. To be honest, while I was studying for my BA, I let this part of my life slide. Mostly because if I had a couch in my home, it wasn't mine, or I didn't have one at all.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met all sorts and find them all interesting and encouraging to continue using this site to meet people.

Música, películas y libros
Hah not even going to go there, yet. There is not a single thing I have seen, heard, or read that I couldn't enjoy in some aspect.
Algo increíble que he hecho
When I returned to the United States, and while riding the regional transit system, realized for the first time in my life how incredibly blessed we are to have so many cultures and ethnicities uniting. It wasn't until after I had spent a year in the beautiful, mono-ethnic culture of Thailand that I even noticed what a wonderful conglomerate of the world we have in the States. Yes, we might clash, crash and often upset each other but more often than not, you can travel a single block and immerse yourself within an entirely different culture. The one thing I hope to live long enough to see is when the population's demographic actually is a representative of the people in politics. Simple put, when the color/culture/background of the people governing this county represent the actual people within it. It also reminded me that there will never be a union of the world unless mis-communication as a whole were to be eliminated. This might be
deep, but I couldn't pass off a balse'/ amazing experience that wasn't actually where I am now.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
Life.
Don't let your fears blind you to the opportunities, people, and experiences you can have.
To teach is to learn 1000x more than your curriculum.
Students are never children they are individuals at different paces.
The best moments can emerge when you feel like you have lost everything.
