ABOUT ME

Right now I'm living in Madrid and I love it! I teach english to children and am learning Spanish and the Spain way of life! I am a traveler at heart though and can't wait to hit the road. I'm very passionate about my friends and my family and learning about the world. I want to go everywhere and do everything. I think traveling and learning about different cultures is one of the most important things you can do in your life, it opens your mind and your heart. I'm fun and casual and am usually seeking some sort of adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't ever, ever give up! I know it sounds so cheesy, but in my life this as been the one true thing! Don't give up, and keep on dreaming, because your life will give back to you what you put into it!

So far I surf and I spread the word! I hope to start hosting soon, but I have some roommates to convince first!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Brussels and Valencia, Spain so far, and have had great experiences. I love the fact that now I not only just know, but have gotten to communicate with these people in ways that wouldn't be possible if I just met them on the street or something. When you get to stay in someone's home you really get to know them and understand who they are and where they come from!

Interests

Obviously traveling is number one, but I also love going to concerts and seeing all sorts of different music. I read a lot and am currently trying to read as many classics as I can. I love and miss my bicycle dearly, she is currently living in San Francisco. I like classic and modern art and can spend all day in a museum, and I love, love nature. I can't live without the ocean, or the mountains, however I love living in the city for now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list! I love movies so I can pretty much watch anything, and the same goes for music. My favorite book so far is East of Eden, and of course all the Harry Potters! Yes I am an HP nerd and I don't cares who knows it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the craziest things I've ever done was jumping off an 80 meter bridge, that still gives me chills. Some of my favorite places in the world, places that have really left me awe struck are Iguazu Falls in Argetina, Isla Grande in Brazil, Banos Ecuador, Yosimite in California, and San Francisco, that city never ceases to amaze me!
